Initial Model Set-up: Developing a Model Grid
First Step:
- Establish the nodes for each of your segments
- This process can be done a number of ways
- By hand
- Using a computer program (see notes)
Second Step:
- Put the nodes into an ArcView ready format (see next page) text file
Third Step:
- Import the text file and project (if necessary) to overlay basemap
