Summary Results
Notes:
One other thing I did was to use the annual runoff value I obtained and looked at some of the flow magnitudes. I used the identify tool with the regional flow accumulation grid to determine how many upstream cells there were at the northern boundary of the site, and I used the identify tool with the facility flow accumulation grid to determine the how many upstream cells there were at the creek outlets to the Delaware River. I then multiplied the number of cells by the runoff value of 20 in. and by the grid cell areas in each flow accumulation grid to compute a volume of runoff. Obviously, the cell areas are much larger in the regional scale. A couple things to point out are that Marcus Hook Creek has more flow than Stony Run Creek, and Stony Run Creek receives a lot of flow when it moves through the refinery. And this is what I expected to see based on previous information I had.
